Paul graduated from the University of Notre Dame Australia in 2008 with a Bachelor of Laws having previously completed a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Western Australia in 2003. Paul was admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2009 and admitted to the High Court of Australia in 2010. Paul commenced his legal career at Barry Nilsson Lawyers in Brisbane and spent two years in their Insurance and Commercial teams where he gained valuable experience in the areas of public liability claims involving local authorities, workplace claims involving host employers and principal contractors, sports cover claims, licensed premises claims, motor vehicle recovery, and professional indemnity and policy response.
Prior to joining Jarman McKenna in November 2011, Paul was at Sports Lawyer in Melbourne practicing in sports and employment law.
Paul practices in the areas of insurance litigation and his areas of practice include public liability, property damage and other general insurance related areas involving insurance litigation and advice.
