Emily graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2004 with a Bachelor of Laws, having previously completed a Bachelor of Business (majoring in Human Resources Management) in 2002. After completing her Diploma of Legal Practice Emily was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2005 and the High Court in 2007. Emily was admitted to practice in Western Australia in January 2010.
Emily was previously employed with Rankin Nathan Lawyers where she spent 10 years performing work on behalf of a range of insurers in respect of personal injury claims (including catastrophic, third party motor vehicle, public liability and workers compensation claims) as well as statutory recovery claims and general insurance matters.
Emily joined Jarman McKenna in August 2011. Emily currently practices in the area of insurance litigation and her practice includes motor vehicle third party insurance, workers compensation and public liability claims.
